SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS    7 nights       May 26/jul3      sat/sat     1500 miles
WEST COAST                                                              
Includes 7 nights hotel dinner, bed and breakfast.

 
Welcome to our exciting ride up into Scotland's Highlands and West Coast taking you up into this spectacular region on some of the best motorbiking roads in the world, ride the haunting Great Glen, Glencoe, Isle of Skye, Ullapool and Applecross and UK's highest pass, while relaxing and having a good laugh on the way.    
Departing Dumfries ride good roads through the forests to New Galway over to the scenic coastline catching the ferry across the Clyde Estuary to Dunoon, what a fantastic way to enter the highlands. 
 
Heading into the mountains and valleys ride some of the best roads in the world to the West Coast heading north through the haunting scenery of the Great Glen down to Glencoe whith spectacular fjords and stunning scenery as a back drop.
 
Fort Wiliam, look out for Ben Nevis [usually in cloud] riding  north westwards to the Isle of Skye with it's famous bridge, beautiful scenery and great roads, staying for two nights giving you time take it easy and to explore and discover the famous biking roads, scenery and hospitality of Skye.
 
From here we follow the meandering coastline and the challenging climb over the 'pass of the cattle [highest pass in the UK] to Applecross and follow the rugged coast road past white sandy bays with red stone backdrops on our way to the historic fishing port of Ullapool.
 
Staying for 2 nights, we can explore this wild and beautiful region, try a ride to Durness in the far north [800 miles from London] with white sand dunes, palm trees and blue sea or nip over to John o Groates.
 
Then off to ride southeast to the Scottish TT through Glenshee with long smooth sweepers and rolling hills a favourite of our biker cousins up north. give a wave to the Queen in Balmoral as you glide past her holiday home next to the wild rivers and forests of this great glen.
Heading south now and a last night before riding down the A7 and the last good biking road before home.
 
We stay in nice hotels giving you time to relax and have a laugh after a good days ride.
This tour is escorted as against guided, ride with us or on your own, or do it differently each day the choice is yours, just meet us at the hotel later to discuss your days ride before dinner.

Saturday:-
We will meet up in Dumfries in Scotland at approximately 10 am for our first days ride.
Riding from Dumfries into scenic New Galloway through forests on deserted biking roads. 
Travelling up the beautiful  unspoilt west coast we will catch a scenic ferry across the Clyde to Dunoon allowing you a glimpse at the scenery to come.
This will  be our first stop for the night, so get settled in and relax over a drink before dinner and a good evening getting to know each other.
 
 Sunday:- 
Wake up to a full Scottish breakfast which should set you up for the day, then on bikes and away,  looking forward to the excellent roads and scenery you will encounter today.
Today we will ride into the mountains of this stunning area passing picturesque castles and great views of the sea, offshore islands and glens as we meander along the twisties, taking it all in from the seat of your own bike.
We will be stopping frequently for photos, coffee, toilets etc.
Lunch will be a casual affair, time for a laugh and relax setting you up for more riding in this beautiful part of the world.
We will follow the smooth sweepers of the coast road then onto the twisty open roads up to Rannock Moor and the brooding Glencoe for a few photo stops and a cuppa to allow you take it all in. 
We will then ride to the Fort william area to our hotel for the night, ready for a well earned drink, dinner and a look round.  
 
 Monday:-
Och aye the noo,Good morning up and at em, time for Scottish breakfastb and pack the bikes.
Todays adventure will see us wending our way on fantastic deserted biking roads up the side of  the legendary Lochness and then over to Applecross on one of the highest road in the UK , this area has some of the best biking roads and scenery in the world so come on. take advantage of it and wear the sides of your tyres out for a change.
We will ride all day before crossing the new bridge onto the mysterious Isle Of Skye, this beautiful place will be our home for two nights allowing you time to relax and enjoy your surroundings.   
 
 Tuesday:-
Breakfasted, then do as you please today.
I will of course be taking a rideout around this fascinating area, you are welcome to join me on the bike as we explore this wonderful place taking it all in as we circle the spectacular  moody island riding on roads designed for bikers.
Lunch then more biking in this great enviroment before wandering back to the hotel and a bit of crack and a night out.
 
 Wednesday:-
Good morning, breakfast then we can jump on the bikes for a very scenic ride up the Fjord like coastline riding deserted roads viewing scenery to match anywhere on the planet, passing white beaches and palm trees before arriving in the quaint fishing port of Ullapool for the night.
 
Thursday:-
Fed and watered then out on bikes heading to the Uk's farthest point north/west, riding  the deserted smooth sweepers up the picturesque coastline, passing near Cape Wrath which is about 650 miles from London, then we ride back on more twisties through the wild countryside skirting the Atlantic Ocean with a mountain backdrop which has some of the highest peaks in the UK.
We will then head back to Ullapool for another nights stopover.
 
Friday:-
Morning, refreshed after another nice breakfast, on bikes and we will head over the mountain roads taking us to the great biking area of Glenshee giving a wave to queen as we pass Balmoral Castle, the road through this bleak ski-ing area is like the Isle Of Man TT course and a favourite of our motorbiking Scottish bretheren.
Lunch will be taken at one of the many colourful hosteleries then on through the valleys to your last nights hotel, where you can have a laugh, a drink and a good evening with your new found friends.
 
Saturday:-
Breakfast and we will pack the bikes for the last time.
Todays ride will take us south swooping down through the beautiful Borders to  Northumberand and unfortunately the end of a great tour, have a safe journey home.
