Ride your motorbike on the twisty sweepers through the forests of Belgiums Ardenne to Spa Franchochamp for the very popular and historic Spa Classic Motorcycle festival.
This event is becoming one of the best in the world giving you the chance to see the famous riders and motorbikes from yesteryear, being put through there paces around the spectacular Spa racing circuit.
Staying overnight Friday for an all day Saturday visit to the Spa Festival, with plenty of time to explore this fascinating event.
As we are already in Europe, we have combined the tour with a riding holiday in Germanys beautiful Black Forest region.
Travelling into Germany's Eifel Mountains passing the scary Nurburgring, [don't worry we will call in on the way back], our ride takes us down to the Mosel River Gorge for the night, relax over a drink ,[Mosel valley is world famous for wine growing] in a lovely setting with views of the river, castles, vineyards for a pleasant evening.
Heading down the twisties of the Mosel river gorge for about twenty miles,then off up into the forests and South West through rolling hills to Baden Baden and the Black Foest. Ride the famous 500 biking road which snakes for over 200 miles along the ridges and valley's of this great biking region.
We will stay a few days exploring the roads and historic villages of this stunning region of Germany, allowing you time to unpack the bike, kick back relax and enjoy the hospitality,ride out, chill, explore, do nowt, your choice in this stunning region of Germany
This tour is escorted as against guided, ride with us or on your own the choice is yours, just meet us later at your hotel where you can discuss your days adventures over a well earned drink.
This tour include ferries, 5 nights hotel, bed and breakfast.
Our tours stay in nice hotels and allow you time to relax and enjoy the roads while taking in the stunning scenery safe in the knowledge that your experienced guide will take you on the best biking roads riding through spectacular scenery and visiting the most interesting places.
June:-Thurs
Meet us at the Hull ferry terminal about 5.30pm for ferry to Zeebrugge which leaves 7pm.
Once onboard you can settle into your twin ensuite cabin and get ready to meet your fellow bikers and take advantage of the on board entertainment.
June:- Friday [ Dover riders will meet us at the first hotel.]
Disembark then we are away on bikes riding some scenic countryside on interesting roads to Belgium and our hotel near the Spa racing circuit.
June:-Saturday,
Early breakfast then on bikes for our trip to Spa for the day of the festival, revel in the sight and sound of the old bikes as they are put through there paces by there famous riders on this historic race circuit.
We will visit the circuit giving you plenty of time to see everything.
Late Saturday afternoon we will leave the historic event and ride over the border into Germany onto the great biking roads of the Eifel Mountains and a ride past the Nurburgring, and down to the Mosel River gorge for the night. The Mosel valley is famous for it's wine, beer, food and fairytale castles, and what better way to relax and have a bit crack, watching the barges drift by while sampling some of the local nectar [the beer is ok as well] and a pleasant evening.
June:-Sun Aprox 250 Miles
Up and refreshed and time for a good breakfast then on bikes and the adventure continues.
Our exciting destination today is the Black Forest area of Germany and the famous 500 biking road with it's wide open sweepers and spectacular views.
But first we ride down through the Mosel River Gorge where we will pass vineyards, Fairytale Castles and nice views on quiet biking roads before turning and riding up the twisties through beautiful forests and hills.
We will be stop frequently for coffee, photos, lunch etc.
Your hotel is for the night so unpack the bike make yourselves at home and relax.
June:-Mon
Gooden morgan breakfast is served.
Or for the massacists among you I will lead a rideout today and you are welcome to join me.
We will riding an exciting scenic route through fascinating countryside on roads made for biking.
Frequent stops will be made for at one of the many biker friendly establishments for Bratwurst, coffees, toilets, photos etc. allowing you time to relax and take it all in.
Lunch which is usually a laid back affair then back on the bikes for more picturesque villages and twisties wearing the sides of your tyres out for a change, tackle hairpins and sweepers through scenery which you will remember forever, eventually meandering our way back to the hotel after a great days riding.
June:- Tues
Gooden Morgan, We will have a relaxing and scenic ride back to the Mosel/ Rhine area of Germany on a different interesting route, stopping for lunch, coffee and photos.
Jun :-Wed [ dover riders will leave us today]
Breakfasted , pack bikes and away up into the Eifel mountains calling into the historic Nurburgring with a chance to have a look around before resuming our ride back to Zeebrugge for the ferry which leaves at 6 pm.
June:-Thur [aprox 240 miles].
Disembark and sadly this is the end of the tour, we will say our goodbyes to new friends.
